Hi, I'm Wendy Urquhart

For over 20 years, I’ve helped founder-led businesses turn ideas into action.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege to work alongside founder-led businesses in a variety of leadership roles. The largest chapter was a 16-year journey with Taradel, where I helped grow the company from a $2M startup to a $28M category leader in the martech space, eventually serving as President and COO. Working across partnerships, operations, business development, and leadership, I helped the company scale through years of growth and change, culminating in a private equity acquisition in 2024. That experience shaped how I work today, helping other founders bring clarity, ownership, and follow-through to their businesses.

What I do

Today I work alongside founders in a fractional capacity, bringing structure to their ideas, solving problems, supporting teams and keeping important work moving.

Most of the companies I work with aren’t looking for a big overhaul. They simply need another experienced person they can trust — someone who can help teams stay focused, feel supported and make sure top priorities don’t get lost in the day-to-day.

How I help

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across nearly every area of a business, including sales, business development, marketing, operations, customer service and HR/people operations. While every engagement is different, the themes tend to be the same: creating clarity, strengthening accountability, and making sure important work gets done.

Recent engagements have included:

  • Facilitating leadership team meetings with structure, accountability, and follow-through that keeps priorities moving forward between meetings
  • Helping leaders clarify goals, make decisions, and execute on what matters most
  • Turning discussions and ideas into plans with clear ownership and deadlines
  • Supporting and mentoring key team members when leaders don’t have the bandwidth
  • Streamlining performance systems to create greater consistency and improve the quality of feedback and development conversations
  • Taking ownership of important initiatives that lack a clear owner, coordinating across teams, and driving them through completion

Let’s talk

If you need another “experienced set of hands” in your corner to help get things done, I’d love to connect.
